Summary of work
emotive is a global healthcare communications agency. After achieving consistent growth to 2018 we entered 2019 wanting to differentiate ourselves and adapt our business to the changing needs of our clients. Having gained experience with novel therapies, we decided to make this our focus and position the business to service smaller biopharma targeting rare disorders and those with exciting advanced therapies.
We set up an Advanced Therapies Unit and increased our expertise through talent acquisition. To offer a wider suite of services for global clients we expanded our collection with consultancies offering insight and access and opened a US office.
2019 was a huge success. We supported clients with a range of novel therapies and we achieved an average score of 5.68 out of 6 in our client satisfaction survey; we won Gold at the PM Society Digital Awards for our Spot the Rare campaign and won Pharma Times Communications Team of the Year Award in the Charity Category. We improved our team benefits, made ten new hires, and improved retention. Finally, we won six new accounts and exceeded our growth targets. 2019 was a truly great year!
Emotive thoroughly deserve this high commendation. The company was applauded for bravery in its strategic approach, and for having a very clear strategy to which its actions were aligned. The judges also recognised the group's significant effort to sustain its values.
