Summary of work
Hanover’s public affairs team took on the demands of political turmoil, NHS change and client demand in 2016 to deliver a transformational year. This was built out of a recognition of the need to broaden the team’s influence and deepen its knowledge, through the recruitment of new strategic hires, compelling new marketing initiatives, specialisation of approach and team upskilling. The team leveraged the broader Hanover Group’s political acumen and insight to shape corporate public affairs’ activity and engagement, and increased its understanding of and influence within the NHS nationally and locally to deliver transformational results for clients, resulting in strong client retention, new business growth and talent attraction from the market.
