How do you honour and celebrate 100 years of pioneering work, while simultaneously re-branding your company and ushering in a new era of transformational innovation?
This was the complex task facing our UK Communication & Public Affairs (CPA) Team at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (J&J IM) in 2024. Rising to meet the challenge of this pivotal moment for our company, we adopted a laser focus on our goals, worked at breaking down silos to capitalise on our collective strengths, and initiated strategic partnerships to inspire and influence others.
Amidst industry-wide challenges posed by VPAG and the anticipation of a general election, juxtaposed with the promise of a new corporate brand and landmark 100-year anniversary for J&J in the UK, our small but devoted team came together with a shared purpose that would amplify the company’s commitment to healthcare innovation and patient care. In doing so, we delivered an impactful communications strategy that highlighted our company’s responsibility to patients, employees and the communities in which we live and work.
One journalist aptly captured J&J UK’s milestone year with the headline ”100 Not Out.” A sentiment which also reflects the resilience, dedication and skill of our dynamic and bold CPA team.
