Fox&Cat

Summary of work

Against a backdrop of restraints with client budget and resource, and an industry burned out and stressed, Fox&Cat took action. When the agency was just six-months old it formed an ambition to win more meaningful work and to grow in revenue and reputation. At the heart of its 217% YOY growth and agency differentiation, sits ADAPT; Fox&Cat’s unique planning framework. Unlike other tools, ADAPT guides the development of award-winning programmes, whilst also interrogating and creating healthy, cost-effective, resource-efficient, and stress-minimised routes of collaboration and delivery. Believing in purpose and passion over profits, the agency devoted over 50% of its profits to pro bono work in 2023. Its flagship CSR campaign Under the Tree helped 4,631 people working in communications to better manage their response to stress. Scoring 97% and 90% satisfaction from its clients and network, respectively, Paul Hutchings, founder of Fox&Cat commented: “At a time where resources are tight, and budgets need to be spent wisely, it is great to see our model of delivering bold and impactful programmes without the human cost created by unnecessary stress and pressure is proving effective to our network and our clients.”
