Summary of work
Every day in the UK thousands of women+ (1*) suffer in silence, believing their debilitating pain, heavy periods and exhaustion are ”normal”. (2*) That’s why we created the Red Flag campaign - a social media-led initiative designed to put women+ in control of their health. It acts as the ultimate circuit breaker in the agonising 8+ year wait for an endometriosis diagnosis. (2*)
Backed by qualitative and quantitative research, our campaign challenges misconceptions, shifts behaviour, and empowers action. At the heart of it is IsItEndo.co.uk, which bridges the gap between patient experience and clinical recognition.
A first-of-its-kind chatbot symptom checker delivers personalised ”red flag” reports to users. Meanwhile, GPs receive crucial patient insights, along with diagnosis guidance.
With 88% of women+ who engaged with our campaign now more likely to see their GP, we’re actively reducing diagnostic delays. This is a campaign designed to transform lives.
Judges’ comments
This topic is so important and the judges loved the ‘Red Flag’ campaign. It is an emotional topic that was handled in an objective way and it really stood out visually and creatively. It had a good approach with strong supporting data. The outcomes were excellent, with people saying they were more likely to discuss their symptoms with their GP.
