Driving Continuous Improvement in Immunological Patient Care

by dna Communications on behalf of UCB

Summary of work

The 15th International Immunology Summit exemplifies excellence in global education by driving continuous improvement in immunological patient care. Recognising that up to 50% of immunology patients continue to fail to achieve sustained remission, dna Communications has supported UCB to evolve the Summit into a data-driven, highly interactive, and outcome-focused educational platform. Using robust insights across environmental, category, and business dimensions, the Summit addressed critical care gaps such as delayed diagnosis, suboptimal disease control, and treatment adherence challenges. Innovations included integrating AI-powered diagnostics, digital health tools, and interactive, multidisciplinary case studies, significantly enhanced attendee engagement. Evolved implementation including personalised learning experiences, structured networking, and enhanced beyond-meeting engagement opportunities, delivered demonstratable improvements against set objectives. Evaluation confirmed remarkable success: high attendee ratings (95% understanding), exceptional engagement with on-demand content (69.26%), elevated interdisciplinary collaboration, and significant behaviour change in clinical practice (87%). The Summit’s continuous feedback loop, robust measurement, and adaptive strategies underscored its role as a transformative event in immunology education, geared to continually respond to insights and solidifying UCB’s leadership through setting a new and evolving benchmark in educational excellence.
