The mCRPC in Focus Learning Zone
by EPG Health, an IQVIA business
Summary of work
Signalling better outcomes for patients, EPG Health achieved measured impact on HCP knowledge and clinical competence through digital medical education in a fast-evolving area of prostate cancer care.
The programme is a self-directed ‘Learning Zone’, hosted on the Medthority platform and developed independently of its sponsor Pfizer. Targeting oncologists, urologists and wider multidisciplinary team members, its modular educational design features a wide range of bite-sized content types and formats to meet the learning preferences of time-poor HCPs.
Placing emphasis on trusted, peer-to-peer learning, scientifically rigorous medical writing is complemented by expert-led content offering clinically relevant insight and guidance. This includes short video clips, a podcast series and a roundtable, which was broadcast live and now hosted as enduring content. Congress highlights translate the latest scientific developments into convenient and timely digital takeaways.
Addressing the need for more meaningful impact measurement for online education, the programme pioneered a data-driven ‘Impact Outcomes Framework’ approach, enabling the demonstration of improved knowledge and behaviour change, underpinned by robust evidence of active digital HCP engagement.
The Learning Zone has engaged 19,000 HCPs over a 2 year period, achieving average knowledge improvement of +40%, while >75% of participants confirm their learnings will impact their clinical practice.
