Summary of work
Stirred ended 2023 (our third year since launch) as a fully established agency, having delivered strong growth, achieved B-Corp status and launched the Stirred Well division. We set ourselves a target of breaking the £2m barrier in 2024.
If 2023 had been a year of establishing ourselves, then 2024 was the year we kicked on as a recognised name in the healthcare agency world.
Despite strong headwinds across the industry, our growth trajectory continued on track. We attracted a diverse blend of new team members and grew an equally interesting client mix . We continued to balance profit and purpose, investing significant time in pro bono activity and volunteering time, donating generously to good causes, and furthering our ESG credentials by achieving an EcoVadis Platinum Medal, placing us in the Top 1% of companies globally. We also upskilled our team in AI technology and tools, taking them from ‘intrepid intermediates’ to ‘daily users’, and spent time on deepening our culture and team connections, with a 100% team retention rate.
But most of all, we yet again showed that great communications can be a health intervention in its own right, delivering work that matters.
Judges’ comments
The judges thought Stirred were impressive and a consultancy that has real impact. They certainly had the “wow” factor, with an extremely impressive team, building off a great base. Judges said “I would like to work with them” and “A business I wish I’d created”. Quite simply they set the standard!
