In 2021, Selina embarked on a new career at Langland in social media and healthcare communications. Embracing the challenge of integrating social media within the healthcare sector, Selina quickly rose to prominence by delivering impactful, award-winning work. A standout achievement was the leadership of Janssen EMEA’s Breaking Depression campaign in 2023, which exceeded engagement targets by 400%, showcasing the transformative potential of social media in healthcare. By 2024, Selina’s role had significantly expanded, spearheading the integration of two major clients, including a prominent pharmaceutical company and a government entity in the Middle East. For the pharmaceutical client, Selina delivered a series of pioneering social media initiatives and social media ‘firsts’. In contrast, the government project involved leading an extensive LinkedIn thought leadership programme, with the programme expanding the number of senior executive directors from two to seven and a 232% increase in content engagement. Recognition of Selina’s contributions extended beyond client feedback, earning prestigious accolades such as the Langland Leader Award and the PR Team’s Hero Award in April 2024. Moving forward, Selina is committed to embracing new challenges and leveraging the power of social media to create and deliver meaningful work.
