Summary of work

The decision to move from a passive to a more active marketing stance has ushered in a period of impressive growth for JMC Partners. In the year leading up to the company’s tenth anniversary in March 2012 it was decided to tap the potential of JMC’s excellent but low-key reputation by talking more openly about our achievements and the valuable outcomes we have consistently delivered for clients, patients and the NHS. The strong outcomes-focused culture and ethical ethos at JMC have remained the same but by re-shaping and invigorating our business strategy alongside the development of new systems and processes to facilitate growth, we were able to increase our turnover by 65 per cent through strengthening existing accounts as well as bringing new clients on board. Through collaborative working, cementing our expertise in specialised commissioning and developing business in new areas, we have consistently punched above our weight. As one of our referees put it, “they combine the personalised service of a small agency with the impact and professionalism more commonly found in larger organisations.” Our expanding team is dynamic, motivated and engaged, with every intention of building on this year’s success in 2013.

The spirit of Communiqué was truly felt in this category, with inspiring and engaging entries showing that it’s never too late to change. JMC’s presentation was honest and direct, yet showed the nurturing approach towards its people. As judges we felt that JMC is an amazing agency and we’re confident in its future growth and ambitions.
