Summary of work

The international Fast Heroes campaign is an ambitious collaboration that aims to save and preserve lives that are impacted by stroke through raising awareness of the symptoms and course of action needed. It works alongside a programme of activity that ensures hospitals are well-trained and well-prepared to treat stroke patients when they arrive at hospital.

Judges’ comments

The FAST Heroes entry really stood out as a coherent, brave and insight-driven programme, navigating a difficult topic. Objectives were clear and were matched with a robust strategy. The judges particularly liked the exploration of the unique relationship between children and their grandparents.
