Marjorie Wallace, CBE, is the chief executive of SANE, which she founded in 1986 in response to her Forgotten Illness campaign in The Times. She is also an award-winning investigative journalist, author and broadcaster who has contributed extensively to television, radio and newspapers.

Marjorie has been a respected, credible voice on disability, mental health and charitable issues for many years and is widely regarded as having been one of the strongest influences on government policy on community care.
