What if? A Corporate Communications Platform

Summary of work
M+F Health worked with Sanofi UK to create, implement and measure a strong corporate platform that would bring the company’s ethos to life, increase familiarity with the organisation among a wide audience and strengthen its existing reputation among policymakers and PAGs.
What if? was inspired by the intrinsic curiosity that sits at the heart of Sanofi and kick-started dialogue with a number of audiences on how we can address challenges in the UK health environment. We engaged internal audiences and targeted external audiences through collaborative events, social media content and a Vision Paper, which asked the big questions about what we can do to improve the nation’s health. The campaign culminated in a creative execution – What if? The People’s Poem. Recognising the positive impact of creativity on physical and mental well-being, this was a first-of-its-kind project designed to encourage people to ask ‘what if?’ about their individual experiences with health through poetry so, collectively, we can all listen, learn and respond.
What if? successfully built audience familiarity with Sanofi and its purpose, established meaningful relationships with policymakers and PAGs, and reinforced its connection to the patient community.

‘What if? A corporate communications platform for Sanofi UK’ impressed the judges with its creativity and professional execution. The stakeholder and patient engagement were excellent, with the feedback from patient groups particularly strong. The video and poetry aspect were well received, and the panel could see the programme’s benefit to patients.
