Building a Brighter Future with Bee-lieve Foundation

Summary of work

1 in 5 young people struggle with their mental health in the UK, and half of all adult mental health challenges are established by the age of 14. With the social media minefield and COVID-19’s legacy impacting the current generation of school-aged children, it’s a particularly difficult time to be a kid. GIG Health was introduced to the Bee-Lieve foundation and its incredible grass-roots activities through a pharmaceutical client of ours on its board of trustees. We immediately recognised a charity whose interests and passions aligned to our own, and whose public-facing story and brand stood to benefit from the kind of expertise we sell to clients. Inspired by our work developing the Passion Partnership’s brand, we took on the Bee-Lieve Foundation as our first formal pro-bono client, and established GIG Health’s pro-bono policy that will endure and - hopefully - grow alongside us in the future. Working closely with Bee-Lieve, we reinvented their messaging, mission, vision and visuals, modernising their website towards better performance and traction. This, together with strategic counsel on their social media, gave their fundraising and applications an immediate boost, and provided a platform for them to push on to the next level, a process now underway.

Judges’ comments

The work from GIG Health and Bee-lieve Foundation was a very solid and impressive entry. Its evidence showed of everyone in the team getting involved, including junior members. It had real tangible outcomes and the impact was noticeable and done on a tight budget. The judges felt that the entry had transformed a dated look and it was great to see there was trust between the agency and the charity.
