Summary of work
We believe every agency should embed pro-bono working. It’s an opportunity for growth—expanding talent, pushing boundaries, and cultivating a better understanding of diverse communities.
When the Pasion Partnership connected us with Unique, the Rare Chromosome Disorder Support Group, the ask was simple: create an awareness campaign.
Instead, we set out to foster a sustainable partnership, based on mutual benefit and trust, strengthening what Unique stands for and elevating its voice.
The result has been an outstanding success. Yes – we increased exposure with ‘Touch the Sky’ which became one of the first genuinely accessible music experiences – sharing stories, connecting members, and attracting new supporters. Yes – we created inspirational video storytelling. However, our value was foundational because we reinvented Unique’s story.
Success lay in how we strategically supported Unique’s limited manpower to connect caregivers with their ‘north star’. By providing a clear vision, strategic imperatives and communications plan we prioritised where they could make the biggest difference.
And yes – pro-bono working gave our agency the freedom to explore inspiring ideas. We raised our profile, our people found new meaning in their work, and this partnership enabled us to fully flex our creative muscle outside the limits of ‘client deliverables’.
