XLH Matters 2025

by Sciterion for Kyowa Kirin

Summary of work

XLH Matters 2025 delivered a truly global, practice‑shaping educational experience for a rare, lifelong and progressive condition where high‑quality MDT learning is scarce. Now in its fifth year, the programme set a new benchmark for immersive, evidence‑driven education, uniting paediatric and adult specialists, embedding lived experience, and translating cutting‑edge clinical recommendations into practical, real‑world action. With a refreshed, nature‑inspired identity symbolising growth across the lifespan, XLH Matters 2025 combined scientific rigour with creative, high‑engagement formats: a clue‑based genetics mystery, an Inspector Calls‑style case investigation, and parallel age‑specific breakouts to support truly personalised learning. A hybrid model expanded access across EMEA, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Canada, while orchestrated interactivity and pledge‑based commitments ensured education translated into meaningful practice change. Attendance reached an all‑time high and confidence increased across every learning area: demonstrating tangible measurable educational uplift. XLH Matters 2025 didn’t just inform; it united a global community around a shared responsibility to elevate lifelong XLH care.

Judges’ comments

This had good benchmarks and clear outcomes, with specific details that made them easy to measure. The entry was very well written, with a well-considered strategy, and it was a notable improvement on the previous meeting from 2024.
