Preparing the CIDP Community for the First Targeted Innovation in 30 Years
by Bedrock, A Resonant Group Company for argenx
Summary of work
Executive Summary
Within six months, we transformed one of neurology’s most complex datasets into clear, field-ready scientific exchange, enabling consistent, high-quality dialogue at EMEA launch across 18 markets.
Chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyradiculoneuropathy (CIDP) is a rare, severe neurological condition causing progressive weakness, loss of independence and significant impact on daily life. Despite existing treatments, many patients continue to experience debilitating symptoms, highlighting the need for effective therapies.
The introduction of efgartigimod SC marked the first targeted innovation in CIDP in over 30 years. In partnership with argenx, we delivered a rapid, insight-driven scientific exchange programme from pre-to-post-launch, equipping European Medical Affairs teams and experts with the clarity and confidence to engage with this innovation.
Beginning in Q1 2025, the programme combined expert engagement, educational resources and live scientific dialogue to translate complex data into clear, credible peer-to-peer exchange, underpinned by a study design simplification tool.
This was delivered through a comprehensive programme including >35 scientific materials, >1,000 educational slides, 10 bite-sized expert-led digital education videos, multiple training modules, two scientific symposia and two advisory boards, alongside ongoing insight-generation.
In collaboration with a 15-member expert Collegium, we strengthened scientific understanding and prepared the medical community for the arrival of this transformative treatment option.
