Summary of work

After nine years of continuous growth and success, we knew we had reached a critical decision time for the future of Virgo. Therefore, in July 2012 we made the landmark decision to become part of GolinHarris (GH) by accepting their most unusual and in fact, first-of-its-kind, offer of a reverse takeover! This provided us with the opportunity to instantly achieve our key CSFs of going ‘global’ and ‘digital’, while critically protecting and maintaining our brand, location, values and culture. We took on global leadership for both the GH and Virgo HEALTH brands, which has already seen significant business wins. We opened new Virgo offices in New York and Singapore and launched ‘go’ Digital HEALTH.

In a year of significant change, Virgo HEALTH did not compromise for a moment, but remained absolutely true to its values. Still innovating, the agency continued to invest in, and support, staff at the same time as expanding it global footprint. We saw a real focus on strong strategic and business decisions throughout a very impressive year as it turned into a truly global agency.
