Litmus MME
Summary of work
Litmus partners with industry and the healthcare community to engage across and between clinical and non-clinical stakeholders using a range of channels. In 2012, we reached more than 30,000 professionals across disciplines and roles. Digital engagement made up more than 70 per cent of all activities – enabling access and maximising study time and investment. 100 per cent of programmes have defined learning objectives developed in partnership with stakeholders and based on a needs assessment. All programmes are designed in line with client strategy and evaluated across four pillars: reputation, access, engagement and intervention, and metrics are assessed as part of the Litmus Test that supports evidence-based education. Non-clinical stakeholders, including payers, hospital managers and clinical commissioning groups made up a large proportion of the stakeholders engaged in the design and implementation of Litmus programmes in 2012, with more than one-third of our revenue derived from programmes with a market access objective. Litmus has combined expertise across professional education, stakeholder relations and health economics to create and implement programmes that are relevant within the evolving health systems across Europe. 2012 was a landmark year for Litmus, with sustained growth of 20 per cent over 2011 and doubling the size of the business since 2010.
Judges’ comments
Litmus is embracing the challenges of today in an evolving healthcare environment, integrating clinical and non-clinical stakeholders across channels. This is a consultancy with real depth in what it offers and achieves, and they clearly recognise the shifting focus of educational needs and alignment with non-prescriber customers. Staff development is really impressive - the culture pervades the business and everyone has a real impact on business growth.
