ART Perspectives

by emotive. for ViiV Healthcare

Summary of work

ART Perspectives is a one day, peer review, case study workshop programme developed for ViiV Healthcare focused around fostering better profiling of, and clinical decision-making for, people living with HIV. Designed specifically for specialist HIV clinicians:

ART Perspectives features constructed, lifelike case study scenarios to challenge current thinking and clinical behaviour. The cases are presented, discussed and debated in a highly interactive and engaging format, supported by cutting edge technology, with the aim of adjusting existing prescribing patterns around novel treatments, specifically Triumeq® and ultimately improving outcomes.

ART Perspectives was debuted in Mexico, a key market where Triumeq® is recommended for first-line use in HIV treatment-naïve people, and it received glowing delegate and stakeholder feedback and clear evidence of an intended change of behaviour in both quantitative and qualitative results. Importantly the feedback from the event was followed through with a demonstrable substantial uplift in volume units prescribed and tracked over the following six months. ViiV was delighted with the results and ART Perspectives events have been subsequently run in other international markets with an online and field representative version planned.

Judges’ comments

This meeting showed innovation and proved to be very effective. It had a commercial element, but still delivered a positive impact on health. It had clear metrics and the emotive. and ViiV team evidently worked hard.
