Summary of work
Our mission is to create an inclusive culture, where every voice is heard, and to make a positive impact on our people, community and planet. We hold ourselves to account through a core objective within our Global Business strategy: to create a culture that puts Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIBs) at the heart of everything we do.
Leading inclusivity is paramount to achieving this and, as a business, we have invested heavily to ensure that our senior Leadership Team feels confident to think, learn and act inclusively. This positive behaviour now permeates throughout the organisation, as our Global DIBs Committee, supported by 14 self-organised Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), effectively deliver DIBs initiatives to provide education and drive inclusive behaviour. Our employees have highly rated our dedication to DIBs, and we will continue to evaluate and measure our progress to ensure that we deliver.
Our work so far sets a solid foundation, upon which we will continue to build in 2021 and far beyond. Together, we are making the meaningful transition to becoming an inclusive organisation where every employee can experience psychological safety, trust and, ultimately, true belonging.
Judges’ comments
Nucleus Global issued a statement of intent in response to societal developments in 2020 and have set out to 'walk the talk'. From training their senior leaders, to working with an expert D&I consultant, to executive sponsorship and empowered employees, they are creating an effective and sustainable structure. They are learning and adapting and they are reviewing and changing policies and practices. Their employees have noticed and applaud the increased focus and commitment to D&I, and understand that this is a continuous journey.
