Summary of work
We began 2021 knowing a milestone year lay ahead. The events of 2020 had shaken up the world of healthcare and there would be no return to the ’old normal’. As we reflected on what was to come, we knew we needed to rise to the challenge and make the most of what Novartis had to offer for patients across the UK.
With seven product launches to support, including an industry-first agreement with NHS England, a transformed business structure to embed across teams and new patient engagement programmes to create, it was our duty to maximise the potential of our organisation’s plans; showcasing what communications can deliver when it is creative, targeted and insight-driven.
The results, which included engagement from all levels of the health service, government and patient communities, surpassed all our expectations and prepared Novartis for an even more impactful 2022.
The judges felt the team from Novartis answered the questions on their presentation very well under pressure. The judges were impressed by the relationship the team have fostered with the NHS and agreed that the presentation was strong, with big, bold objectives outlined for the future.
