Saffron Short
Summary of work
In just six years, Saffron has progressed from Account Executive to Senior Account Director, consistently operating beyond the expectations of her role to deliver impactful healthcare communications programmes that improve patient care and advance industry standards.
Her work spans global medical education, cross-dermatology initiatives and large-scale congress programmes, combining scientific credibility with strategic creativity. In 2025 alone, Saffron led the development of international educational workshops across three regions, reaching more than 250 healthcare professionals and driving measurable improvements in clinical confidence and shared decision-making in fertility care.
Her most significant achievement has been the strategic transformation of a long-standing national immunology education programme for specialist nurses. Faced with significant resource constraints, Saffron redesigned the programme to focus on real-world clinical challenges, dramatically improving engagement while maintaining educational quality. Delegate attrition fell from over 20% to just 1%, while 99% of attendees reported the programme was relevant to their clinical practice.
Alongside programme delivery, Saffron champions equity in medical education, embedding topics such as skin of colour and culturally sensitive care into mainstream clinical discussions.
Through strategic thinking, inclusive leadership and measurable impact, Saffron is already shaping the future of healthcare communications.
