Summary of work
A core reason I am so passionate about working in healthcare communications is the ability to shape what comes next: for patients, for science and for the nature of the work in our industry itself, which is fast-evolving.
My day-to-day client counsel includes media relations, executive visibility and AI visibility for one of the world's most high-profile global pharma companies operating at the forefront of obesity innovation; and re-imagining a new narrative for the next chapter for one of the key players in the COVID-19 pandemic response.
Outside of my client work, I have carried this focus on the future through initiatives which aim to generate interest and engagement in the key issues shaping healthcare. I co-founded Health Matters, a series of industry events featuring leading journalists from the BBC to the Sunday Times, hosting 70+ attendees from across life sciences to discuss the role of communications in tackling health literacy, prevention, misinformation and patient advocacy. I am the media lead for pro-bono work supporting Lifeline: a musical raising awareness of the threat of antimicrobial resistance and I design and deliver a media relations L&D programme to invest in the talent of tomorrow.
