Summary of work
A strong and highly awarded year in 2024 set a benchmark we were determined to meet, yet conditions in 2025 made that harder than any year before it.
Three key clients saw assets fail and budgets shrink. Two high-value projects closed. Economic headwinds made even modest growth look ambitious. Our forecast was flat. Our response was not.
We built around three imperatives: Hunt better, Deliver with deeper expertise, and Innovate in ways that matter. And we grew for the fifth consecutive year with our highest new business win rate in three years.
In our client work we delivered exciting advances, we launched EURneffy® and created a national conversation and surge in Google search about anaphylaxis. We grew one pharma client’s social following by 39,000 in a single month and helped Moderna open Britain's first mRNA manufacturing facility.
We moved from AI curious to AI capability, with 90%+ of our team using AI regularly. We invested in our people and saw a raft of great promotions plus our strongest retention in five years - despite sustained uncertainty. All this plus pro bono, a landmark DEI young careers initiative and more.
2025 wasn't our easiest year, but we made it a great one.
Judges’ comments
Virgo Health are doing great work. The team presenting came across extremely well, and were energetic and exciting. Their entry was of a high-quality, despite clear challenges relating to external environment and Omnicom merger. It felt as if Virgo has continued to do things their own way and succeed, overcoming challenges due to the merger, by keeping staff informed and delivering fantastic work. Strong and impressive!
