Summary of work
Effective partnership is about applying disparate skills for mutual benefit, enhancing the reputation of the pharmaceutical industry and voluntary sector by improving patient outcomes.
This programme did just that, combining ARMA’s reach and professional credibility with Roche’s skills in data analysis and understanding of the NHS reforms for the benefit of patients.
The result was a unified community, speaking with one voice for a common goal. The outcome was a new profile for musculoskeletal conditions, interest and commitment from the highest levels and tangible policy and health service change.
Judges’ comments
This campaign was successful in bringing together disparate groups to ensure that common goals were achieved. Thirty-nine parliamentary questions were tabled on this issue: this was no mean feat when there are so many draws on healthcare attention.
