Nosheen Hussain

Summary of work

Nosheen is a freelance medical writer and designer who built her freelance business around a structural problem common in medical communications – the fragmentation between science, strategy and design. In 2025, 96% of her work was generated through repeat engagements, inbound leads and referrals alone – a testament to the quality and value of her work. Over the last year, she has: (1) rebranded and developed strategic marketing materials for a global medtech company preparing for FDA approval of a life-saving neonatal incubator used across five humanitarian zones; (2) Led strategic messaging workshops and scientific content for a cancer diagnostics company; (3) Co-led the development a pitch deck for a boutique medical communications agency, securing a year-long collaboration with a global pharmaceutical company. Beyond client work, she is committed to using her skills and time to support others. She mentors emerging talent, led the Racial Justice ERG at Nucleus Global, served as a One HealthTech Fellow, and provided pro bono support to a telehealth NGO, where her digital strategy and content work contributed to the delivery of thousand of medications to patients in Gaza. Nosheen’s career demonstrates that bridging scientific, strategic, and creative expertise drives faster, more integrated solutions with meaningful impact for organisations, clinicians, and patients.
