Best Practice Guidelines for Managing Colic is a comprehensive training refresher for the whole pharmacy team, accredited and judged as excellent by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and described as one of the “best documents and support tools...not just in a long time but possibly ever” by a senior representative in the pharmacy community. The training has reached over 10,000 pharmacists and there have been nearly 3,000 requests for the guidelines to date, from both independents and chains.
Judges’ comments
This was really simple, but reached a lot of people and demonstrated integration and accessibility and some very smart objectives. Mobilising the pharmacist through this well executed programme tackles a clear unmet need and was a really important step forward in the area.
