Summary of work
IQVIA’s Medical and Patient Communications (MPC) agency team devised and delivered an ambitious growth strategy in 2021; refocusing our value proposition to offer a full suite of Medical Affairs communications, and forging strategic partnerships early in the asset life cycle to support our clients on the journey towards launch.
The team was strengthened with differentiating capabilities like Behavioural Science, and core strategic functions including Solution Development and Business Development added to power our growth.
Overall the business grew by 31% in 2021 with 17 new team members introduced to deepen our therapeutic and delivery expertise. Expansion during COVID posed its challenges in onboarding our new team but we rose to the challenge, achieving strong employee engagement and retention.
The judges liked IQVIA’s emphasis on behavioral change as one of their pillars. Their situation analysis was clear and logical with some good benchmark data. There was clear success against business strategy and good growth.
